Tota Roy Chowdhury Indian Actor

Tota Roy Chowdhury, otherwise known as TRS is an Indian actor and Martial Artist based in Kolkata, West Bengal. He mainly appears in Hindi and Bengali movies. His early years in the country were spent in Bihar.

Chowdhury grew up near Patna and started his acting career after school. As a child, he also started taking martial arts classes as a hobby. During the early years, he was also a member of a wrestling team called the "Kathakali". He later became a member of a national team, which later became known as the "Indian Wrestler's Association". In his teens, he joined the Royal Bengal Tigers, where he gained prominence after winning the silver medal in the world championship in the weight class. He went on to win gold in the same weight class at the World Championships in Tokyo in 1988.

Chinggur has also worked in the theatre. In the movie "I Patki", he played the role of a royal jaguar. He later appeared in the TV series "Shatrughan Sinha". In recent times, Chowdhury has made a name for himself by appearing in several independent movies. In addition to acting in major Hollywood blockbusters, he has also appeared in various films by non-Hindi films such as "Cholapuram", "Dil Choli", and "Zhong De."

Most of his roles are centered around the young male protagonist. One notable exception is the film "Zhang De Di", in which Chowdhury plays a young girl who is adopted by a Chinese couple. Though it was later released in English, the film is set primarily in Chinese language. Chowdhury's other films that have been released include the films "Ranjana" and "Sarpagandha." His roles in the TV series "Cholapuram" have earned him several accolades. He was also nominated for an Academy Award for his performance in the film "Mansaada."

Chowdhury first joined the Royal Rifles, a cadet regiment of the Indian army. After a brief stint in the army, he became one of the best martial artists. of the country and was given a Bharat Ratna (national hero) award. by Indira Gandhi, a member of the Indian parliament. He retired from the army in 1969.

Chowdhury has since then had a number of roles in films including the hit movies "Tigar" and "Chalpan Bhaiya." He is married to actress Shikha Dalmia, who has appeared in numerous TV serials and other films. He is also in the midst of planning a biographical film on his life.
